A few weekends ago, I spent some time on the picturesque island of Vejrø. Although located in Denmark, it felt at times like we were transferred to Italy for a weekend – the island bathed in sunshine and the white and orange houses, filled with flowers and greens definitely made it seem more exotic.
During our stay, we got to run around in the grass in the most dreamy, romantic wedding gowns. Eat and drink at the restaurant Skipperly (also run by the resort) whilst watching the cotton candy sunset. Stroll along the wild and beautiful nature that Vejrø has to offer and make friends with lambs, pheasants, rabbits and even some deer. What’s not to like?
I hope you like the images we took during that creative weekend and that they might inspire you when planning your big day.

The magical greenhouse is a unique venue, with both great outdoor and indoor spots, perfect for ceremonies as well as photos.

After both sunset dinner as well as an early morning energy boost at Restaurant Skipperly, we were ready to start day two with a relaxing bath at the bridal suite.

The prettiest accessories, the not-too-high-to-dance-all-night stilettoes from Anniel and the wildly romantic bouquet made by Cool & Cosy, wrapped up in a peach silk ribbon that moved gracefully in the wind.

The perfect setting for a free-spirited, bohemian wedding look and a place of raw nature combined with fine dining and plenty of space to relax and celebrate all things love.
Can’t wait to be back again sometime soon.
